freewrite on this cliche for 3 minutes: “back to square one.”

back to square one. as opposed from square zero, or two, or sixty-five. why squares, why anything that has a sequential order? these squares are hollow. they lead an order that is a hinderance to freedom, to the ability to do anything outside the box. if everything’s a square it means you gotta stay in the guidelines, as if there are guidelines for this world. who drew those boxes? because it sure as hell wasn’t me, and if anyone’s drawing a box that my life has to fit into it will be me.
