“The more he improved his surroundings to make his life easier, the more complicated man made it. So now his children are sentenced to 10-15 years of school just to learn to survive in this complex and hazardous habitat that they were born into. And civilized man who refused to adapt himself to his natural surroundings now finds that he has to adapt and readpt everyday, and every hour of everyday to his self-created environment. Watched The Gods Must Be Crazy last night. I had never heard of it and didn’t really know what to expect from it, but it was actually quite a good mix of Monty Pythonish comedy and philosophical meaning. If you come across it definitely check it out because you’ll laugh your ass off the whole time and come away with something from it as well.
